Coverings 2024: Learn More at the Show
ATLANTA – Coverings 2024 will feature a lineup of featured education during its April 22-25 run here at the (Georgia World Congress Center.
Education at Coverings 2024 will span all tile and stone industry segments with a focus on Coverings’ four learning spaces of “Sustainability,” “Health & Wellness,” “Outdoor Spaces” and “Timeless Luxury,” along with a wide range of many other relevant topics.
Coverings 2024’s roster of educational offerings will also concentrate on the show’s three strategic learning tracks: “Installation & Fabrication,” “Materials & Trends” and “Workforce & Profits.” All learning opportunities have been created to advance professional, business and revenue growth for the indusry.
The “Installation & Fabrication” track will assist attendees in enhancing their knowledge of industry best practices and staying abreast of cutting-edge techniques in fabrication/installation of tile and stone. “Workforce & Profits” sessions offer insights into innovative business practices and tactics to enhance workforce growth and management. “Materials & Trends” will track the most-recent tile and stone styles, design inspirations and techniques.
Coverings 2024 will also feature four education stages located on the show floor: Installation Innovation Stage, Trends & Solutions Stage, Fabricator Stage, and the new Art Tile Stage.
A key “Health & Wellness” session is “Nurturing Well-Being: Exploring What’s Next in Healthy Building,” exploring healthy building practices, the latest trends in the future of the built environment, and the integral role of ceramic tile and natural stone in fostering healthier living and working spaces. A panel of healthy-building experts will discuss areas of interest fostering the physical, psychological, and social health and well-being of individuals, with insights about ceramic tile and natural stone’s pivotal role.
“Tile Industry Insights: Deciphering Embodied Carbon and Green Architecture and Design,” under Coverings’ “Sustainability” space, features a panel of building and design experts examining the concepts of carbon emissions and leading, green architectural initiatives, such as the Embodied Carbon Harmonization Project (ECHO). Showgoers participating in this session will learn about embodied carbon standardization, transparency, accountability and reduction, while also gaining a understanding of how such initiatives align with the tile industry’s relevant objectives and why the push for alignment to a clearer definition of embodied carbon is key.
